WebFromuz (also known briefly as FROM.UZ) is an Uzbek progressive rock band formed in 2004 in Tashkent by Vitaly Popeloff and Andrew Mara-Novik. The name Fromuz was borrowed from an early song title and is short for "from Uzbekistan". Fromuz has become one of the most successful progressive rock/fusion bands in Central Asia. WebFROMUZ means From Uzbekistan, and the article stands before the band's name because of the existence of the eponymous company. The Fromuz is comprised of members of X Religion and the Vladimir Badirov Project and is definitely the strongest and most important outfit on today's progressive scene of Uzbekistan.
