The ranchers urge them not to cut down their trees, but they do so anyway despite the dangers to the land. WebGuns of the Timberland was made in 1960 by director Robert D. Webb, and featured Alan Ladd in another leading role. For a film about loggers battling ranchers over the felling of trees that may cause mudslides, the way they dress Alan Ladd in this film makes him look like an 80's boyband member, right down to the silly hat.
